HELP WANTED

 

The City of Osseo and the Town of Sumner are seeking a recycling facility operator.  This would require working for the City part of Monday, Tuesday morning, and Thursday afternoon, approximately 8-9 hours per week. Also, work for the town of Sumner on Saturdays, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM to carry out the same recycling facility operator functions.  This position and hours could possibly be filled by one or two people.  Application and a job description are available at the Osseo City Hall, 13712 8th Street, Osseo, WI 54758 and on the City of Osseo website www.cityofosseo.us.

Winter Parking Regulations

CITY OF OSSEO, Sec. 10-1-27 Code of Ordinances

In order to facilitate the efficient and expeditious removal of snow from City streets during winter months, it shall be unlawful for any vehicle to park on any City street from November 1 to April 15 between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.


City of Osseo Hires New Police Chief

At a Special City Council meeting held Wednesday, August 23rd, the Osseo City Council approved the hiring of William J. Prudlick as the new Chief of Police.  His first day of employment with the Osseo Police Department will begin Monday, August 28th.


Tax Payment Due by July 31st

The second installment of your 2016 Real Estate Property taxes are due by July 31st, 2107.  Payments should be mailed to:  Trempealeau County Treasurer, P O Box 67,  Whitehall, WI  54773.
