Welcome to City of Osseo
Trempealeau County, Wisconsin
A place for business, industry, and children to grow!
Settled in 1857, Osseo is rich in it's heritage and ethnic culture, and is a picturesque city nestled in the rolling hills of northeastern Trempealeau County. The Scandinavian "flare" is plainly seen today in it's annual "Lake Martha Days" celebration and throughout the city shops and businesses. Osseo became a city in 1941 and is governed by a mayor an common council.

A playground, ballpark, picnic shelters, sand volleyball courts, recently renovated swimming pool, and a beautiful 9 hole golf course with club house make up Stoddard Park on the south side of Lake Martha. A modern hospital, new schools and a new library all serve Osseo and the surrounding area offering residents and visitor's quality products and services.

REVALUATION NOTICE
STATE OF WISCONSIN
City of Osseo, Trempealeau, County
A revaluation of property assessments in the City of Osseo shall occur for the 2026 assessment year. Revaluation notices are expected to be sent to property owners in July, 2026. Please also notice that the Assessor has certain statutory authority to enter land as described in Wis. Stat. §943.13 and §943.15.
The ability to enter land is subject to several qualifications and limitations, as described in the statutes. See https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/statues/prefeaces/toc for access to the Wisconsin Statues, or a copy may be obtained from the municipal clerk upon payment of applicable copying charges.

Notice of Meeting to Adjourn Board of Review to Later Date
STATE OF WISCONSIN
City of Osseo, Trempealeau County
The Board of Review will meet on the 10th day of August, 2026 at 5:15 p.m. at the Osseo City Hall for the purpose of calling the Board of Review into session during the 45 day period beginning on the 4th Monday of April, pursuant to Wis. Stat 70.47(1).
Due to the fact that the assessment roll is not completed at this time, the Board of Review will be adjourned until the 14th day of September 2026 at 5:15 p.m.

Visit Eau Claire and Eau Claire Sculpture Tour
The City of Osseo has partnered with Visit Eau Claire and the Eau Claire Sculpture Tour to bring two pieces of free public art to the City of Osseo. The art was set in place today with the help of the City Public Works Crew and Sever Nysven from Blue Light Welding and Design LLC, who donated his time and materials to weld the sculptures onto their bases.
The art can be viewed at Central Park and the 7th Street Parking lot overlooking the South Fork Buffalo River.
